Amardeep Jha’s husband passed away soon after their daughter was born and Amardeep raised her daughter Shriya Jha alone as a single parent.
Initially, Amardeep Jha used to work as a theatre actor in Rajan Sahi’s theatre group.
Amardeep Jha has given acting training to many actors and some of them are Neha Sargam, Shrenu Parikh, and Hina Khan.
In 1998, Amardeep was cast in the Hindi film titled ‘Train to Pakistan’ which was adapted from Khushwant Singh’s 1956 novel by the same name set in the Partition of India of 1947.
