Kumi Taguchi(田口久実,Taguchi Kumi?, born 1975) is an Australian broadcaster and presenter on ABC and ABC News 24.
Biography
Born in Melbourne, Victoria to her Japanese father and Australian mother, Taguchi grew up in rural New South Wales learning classical violin to win a scholarship to study music at the University of Wollongong.[1] Working at ABC Local Radio she pursued her passions for writing and film.
On graduating in 1997, Taguchi worked on the 7.30 Report and at the Triple J national radio station.
